The majority of Language Adventure teachers
are native-speakers and have years of experience
teaching world languages to children.
Preschool and Kindergarten
Children begin to learn a new language through games, songs, puppets and
colorful flashcards. Classes are typically held once a week for 30-45 minutes per class.
Grades 1-5 Students begin by learning vocabulary and basic conversational sentences with the help of a workbook, CD, games, songs and culture projects. They gain cultural awareness as they celebrate the holidays and traditions of countries that speak that language. Continuing students move on to a higher level every year as they develop their language skills.
Grades 6-8 Students continue to learn more vocabulary and basic grammar. They speak in full sentences and create dialogs and skits to practice daily conversations. They gain cultural awareness as they celebrate the holidays and traditions of countries that speak that language.
